• Personal Information

  • The personal information collected is only used by Boxwood POA for the purposes of neighborhood communication and access to this website. We do not share your information with any third parties.

  • We use all of the information you provide voluntarily in order to make your visits to this site possible.

• Sharing of Your Personal Information

• • Boxwood POA will not, in any circumstances, share your personal information with other individuals or organizations without your permission, including public organizations, corporations or individuals, except when applicable by law. 

  • The only exception is if the law or a court order compels us to. We will share your information with government agencies if requested.

  • The Association provides the information on this site merely for the convenience and use of its members.   

• • Residents may or may not inform us of changes in their contact information, e-mail addresses and other information.  When the Association becomes aware that contact information is no longer valid, we may either remove the information from the site or post a notice indicating the information is out of date, as we choose.

• • Because this is simply an informational web site offered for the convenience of our community members, by your use of this website you release the Association (and our officers, directors, agents, and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected to any disputes that may arise between you and one or more of the people posting advertisements here.

All association members, including BPOA board members, must refrain from posting any content on the website that falls under any of the following:

• • Profane, offensive, defamatory, or violent in any way
  • Personally attacking specific groups or individuals
  • Images of children without parental consent
  • Deliberately disorderly comments meant to abuse, harass, threaten, or intimidate (i.e. trolling)
  • Content that fosters, advocates, or perpetuates discrimination based on a person’s race, religion, gender, color, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, or disability or any other type of discrimination (in the sole discretion of the BPOA)
  • Spam or Click-bait
  • Links to files that contain viruses
  • Content related to confidential BPOA business (such as vendor negotiations or contracts) or any other content related to confidential or proprietary business information
  • Sexual content or links to sexual content
  • Content that encourages or conducts any activity that is offensive, harmful, or illegal in any way
  • Personal information other than contact information required for registration to the site
  • Copyrighted or trademarked content (such as images not owned by the individual posting the image)
  • Content that promotes or advertises a product/service, brand, or individual from non-Boxwood Community residents
  • Community gossip, rants, criticism or political bias
  • Personal opinions as representing the BPOA's views

If a member violates any of the BPOA website rules or standards of conduct, the BPOA reserves the right to do one or all of the following:

• • Delete the post, comment or photo in question without prior notice
  • Remove the offender from the BPOA Website
  • Revoke the offender’s posting or commenting privileges 

• • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE ASSOCIATION'S WEBSITE.  

• • By using this site, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party because of or arising from your use of this website or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

• Boxwood Property Owners Association ("BPOA"), its developers, officers, directors, management personnel, employees and volunteers, may photograph and videotape events and activities throughout the community and at community amenities and facilities. BPOA may use such photographs, videotape or recordings (“materials”) in any publication, website, program, presentation or other media, now or in the future, for the purpose of community affairs, education, public relations, marketing of Boxwood subdivision (including on-line and social media marketing), community association communications, or other stories, presentations or articles that will be read, seen and/or heard by the Association’s membership and/or by the general public.
